The Bookkeeping Mystery that Grew My Faith

There were many times this year when I faced questions I simply could not answer.

Numbers that didn’t make sense…

Reports that didn’t match…

Transactions that came from nowhere…

At first, it felt frustrating. I wanted the answers right away.

But instead, God invited me to slow down, to dig, to search, to learn.

And in the digging, I found something unexpected: growth.

Every question that forced me deeper became a reminder that I’m not supposed to know everything right away — but I am supposed to be faithful in the process.

That’s the beauty of bookkeeping… and of life.

Sometimes God hides the answer so we learn how to trust Him while we search.

Sometimes He lets us wrestle with the unknown so our patience strengthens.

And sometimes He lets us dig so that when the answer finally appears, we appreciate the clarity even more.

This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for every hard question that pushed me to grow.

For every confusing report that taught me to persevere.

For every moment I had to stop, pray, and dig — because that’s where my confidence was built.

 And just like unraveled books slowly make sense, our lives do too — in God’s perfect timing.

 I’m thankful for the journey, for the learning, and for the work God trusted me with.
